EL NIDITO means "The Little Nest". Designed by a local architect and provides its guests with comfort and privacy with private pool straight off the south facing patio surrounded by fruit trees and bamboo. The view is to the Lujar mountain and the patio catches the sun all year round. It is a perfect place to curl up and forget about the world and its cares. A few minutes walk from ORGIVA, with its shops, bars and restaurants, El Nidito lies in the beautiful and peaceful valley of the Rio Chico. |

The accommodation is comfortable for up to 2 couples or a family with children of any age. Orgiva is a well situated town close to the sea, Granada and the Alpujarra mountains where you can walk, ride and ski. There is plenty to do if you feel the need or just a perfect place to relax and take in the local atmosphere of the rural life in southern Spain. The cottage is looked after by Clare and Ainsley who will help with any needs that arise and are on call for meals and reflexology treatments and can arrange other services for you. |

ACCOMMODATION Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed, spare single bed, walk in wardrobe south facing view with patio doors. Bedroom 2 with either double bed or twin beds large wardrobe and dressing area. Bathrooms: En-suite shower room to bedroom 1. En-suite bathroom to bedroom 2. We also have our other cottage available for guests El Nido also sleeps 2 to 4 people. The two cottages sit adjoining giving space and privacy for 8 people. Perfect for larger family groups or friends.
Kitchen: Kitchen with hobs and gas oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, juicer, washing machine, electric hot water heater and plenty of cooking equipment. Lounge/diner/kitchen - dining area has butterfly table with 4 chairs, dining area has comfy chairs and settee, TV/DVD, stereo system, SKY satellite system, books and games. Good information pack and lots of maps. Linen and towels are provided, but not beach towels, and a comprehensive information file about the area, restaurants, walks, etc. Property is cleaned for your arrival. |

Notes Water is heated by a butane gas water heater. Electric heaters throughout. The building has well insulated walls and roofs and through ventilation, mains electricity and good piped water, tiled floors with rugs. TV & DVD player with English satellite system so you can watch and listen to your favourite UK stations (Radio 4, BBC1, 2, 3, ITV, Channel 4 and 5). Stereo also provided. Fans provided. Sorry, pets not accepted. There is plenty of space for a baby - cot and high chair provided. Also wine, beer & basic supplies provided on arrival. |

Garden and pool The swimming pool is off the patio which is fenced from the pool for safety and is fitted with an aquatronic system to clean the pool which means no chlorine! The depth is down to 1.3 metres so it is comfortable to stand up in as well as swim. The garden area has a BBQ and sunloungers and a large patio table is under the shade as it does get hot in the summer. Parking area outside the gate. |

Then post booking confirmation with sterling cheque for non-returnable deposit of £100 per week to 28 Langorran Park, West Park, Camborne, Cornwall. TR14 7XQ. Cheque to be made out to Mr. P. Williams. Balance (non returnable within a month of your visit) to be paid by cheque no later than one calendar month before arrival. When we confirm your reservation on receipt of deposit, we will send you details of 'how to find us'. On arrival, the information pack provides details of the locality, touring and walks. ARRIVAL Sunday after 15.00 hrs local time (3 p.m.) departure to be by 10.30 hrs local time on last Sunday of your stay. |

TRAVEL El Nidito is close to Orgiva, only a short walk to the shops, bars, restaurants, bus station etc. Non car users will find its location very amenable, also Clare and Ainsley are available for transport if needed to and from the airport and for day trips. To enjoy the region by car, preferably air-conditioned in the summer, we recommend pre-booking for easy pick up at Malaga airport. We can now offer a 15% reduction on car hire if booked with helle - hollis car hire. If you would like to take advantage of this please click here. It is also possible to fly direct to Granada. We have a local hire car company who you can hire cars direct from Granada airport please email for details. From Malaga airport it is 140 km along coast road or 185 km by way of dual carriageway via Granada. Roughly 2 hrs either way. Granada is a much shorter distance - you will be at El Nidito within the hour. You can drive from a channel port with a one-night stopover near border. There are also car ferries to Bilbao & Santander - a 24hr-boat trip & long days drive via Madrid & Granada. |

Orgiva is at the heart of LAS ALPUJARRAS, the beautiful valleys and foothills between the Sierra Nevada and the coastal range. Of great interest to walkers, birdwatchers, botanists, writers & painters or just for a great holiday away from it all. Many activities including pony trekking, hang gliding, golf and skiing. The last outposts of the moors after the fall of Granada in the 16th century, their Berber villages dot the mountainsides. The nearest beach is 35 minutes away and the ski slopes 95 minutes. |
